Record

pub enum Record<V: Clone + Ord> {
    Ordered(Slot<V>),
    Proposed {
        round: u64,
        batch: Batch<V>,
    },
    Broadcast(Record<V>),
}
Expand description

What this protocol appends. One sequence, carrying its own entries and its child’s.

The page’s store(delivered) and store(proposals) rewrite whole growing structures; these are appended instead, which is the departure the module header records.

Variants§

§

Ordered(Slot<V>)

One entry taking its place in the agreed sequence.

§

Proposed

What this process proposed for a round, durable before the proposal was visible.

Fields

§round: u64
§batch: Batch<V>
§

Broadcast(Record<V>)

The reliable broadcast’s own record, in this sequence rather than a second one.
